except for antibiotics which you should finish the whole course for each meditation, other general types of medicine, you can keep in the refrigerator for six months from the date as chopped on the medicine bottle.
No no no! It depends on the expiry date of the medication. (some medication can have the shelf life for 3 yrs or longer) Sometimes it is stated on the bottles. If the bottles is not the original package, it may not have it. However, it is quite save to consume it within 3 months because the expiry date is usually longer than 3 months especially for the high turnover medication including Panadol. The bottles usually have the expiry label on it if you got the Panadol from MCH or HA hospitals.
Just about most of the medications should be stored under 25 degree celcius. You should put your medications in the fringe (not freezer) if the room temp is higher than 25 degree celcius (the case in summer esp in HK). However, you can keep it in room temp if you have air con. turned on all the times. Once you have put the medicines in the refrig., then you only take it out when you need to consume it and always put it back to the frig straight away. The reason is because your medicine will become moist when you take it out of the frig. for long.
