Same as your condition. As first, when I scanned all the programmes, it indicated no virus was found. But this morning, when I started my computer, there was a warning sign in red, it informed that the subject virus was attacked my computer. Let's try the Symantec website. Hope this can help.
Kindly try to open your Norton Anti-Virus and check for "Quarantined items" and see if you can find these files in the list.
I believe that NAV cannot clean the virus but it can quarantine it first. When you update your signature next time, it'll prompt you to see if those quarantied items can be fixed/cleaned by the newest definition at that time.
If you can find it in the list, you can remove those files in the "Quarantined items" manually.

As you mentioned previously, it's detected by NAV but those files are not found in your PC.
In this case, I'd suggest that you should ensure that you have the latest NAV signature and do a full virus scan.

It seems that this worm is a network-aware worms that is distributed through IRC channels. If you open the IRC channel, this worm may able to spread to your PC.
If you have NAV installed, then it's detectable and your PC is no problem in this case. If it's infected after installed NAV... Then, you need to follow the removal procedure.
In order to ensure that your PC is clean, you should get the latest NAV signature and do a full virus scan once. BTW, I'd suggest that you should install "ersonal Firewall" such as BlackICE etc.
請原諒今日才與你聯絡,費盡九牛二虎之力,才能删除上述的蟲.不過,我的燒碟機(Veritas RecordNow Dx Wizard, inbuilt in the computer)好像不妥,不知會否是條蟲的影響.十次有九次,每當我想做CD/VCD/CD Rom copy (disc to disc, made exact copy),當出現insert a blank disc的時候,而我又將一隻blank disc (牌子以前用都沒有問題)放進去,但一兩秒之後,機會將隻disc彈出,並要求我再放一隻blank disc入去,如是放十次出十次,直至我熄機,更將插頭除下,相隔一段時間再開機,可以copy一兩隻,又再重複上述的cycle.會是蟲影響還是燒碟機有問題?若是燒碟機的問題,又如何處理呢?
