What will you do???

Hi, can anyone share your opinions with me?? I'm a working mom and very hard to apply holidays, my son is not feeling well and needs to take medication but the maid really cannot feed him on her own, 'cos my son will struggle (27months). My husband has to go home to feed him medication in the afternoon - (3 times a day - 8:00a.m., 2:00p.m., 8:00p.m.). And we've no other relatives who can help us out.....Of course, I know this won't last long but do you have any good suggestions?

不如妳請病假la, 妳公司無理由病都唔比人休息喎! 妳同左隣右里熟唔熟, 可以請他們幫忙.

Hi Remedo, thanks for your reply! Of course, I can apply sick leave but my son has to take medicine for 4 days, I can't just apply sick leave for 4 days.......plus there's only me in my department so I've no one to follow my work at the office. I know the family next door but they have to go to work during the day too.......

So frustrated!

Mattmatt,

Take leave for feeding a medicine is not a good solution. You have to train up your maid to feed the medicine. Almost medicine for kid is sweet, maybe you are play to your baby and let him/her drink the medicine happness.

Hope you can do it. :-P

Thanks, Jamesmama for your advice! I understand I've to train up my maid sooner or later but she's very scared but not unwilling. Will try again and again, hopefully she can manage later.
