We are planning to visit Toronto but would like to first join an Alaska cruise in Vancouver. anybody has experience entering Alaska border holding Canadian passport? my two kids (under 12 ) And I hold Canadian citizenship. I will renew my Canadian passport, while I will apply first passport for my two kids. do we need US visa? do we need to present our Canadian citizenship card?

C6 is Australian, I suppose he will need an electronic visa for USA.

Thanks for the info. This comfort me.
Would you mind to share with me, which cruise did she join? I have been searching for embarking and disembarking Vancouver, but most are either northbound or southbound. Besides, how did you find and book the cruise?

There are plenty of cruise embarking and disembarking in Vancouver. Just do a Google search with key words such as "Alaska inside passage cruise" and you'll get loads of information. Princess Cruise, Holland America and Royal Caribbean are the few major cruise lines serving this route.

We took Princess cruise on a 7 night Northbound trip 2 years ago. I went to the websites of each major cruise line and search for the itinerary that I liked the most, and then booked through a travel agent in Hong Kong. You can actually book directly through the cruise line without involving a travel agent. Price is the same regardless who you book with. We have a travel agent that handles most of our travel matters so I just sent the request to them

thanks for your info. I don\'t have acquainted agent. as mostly i purchase tickets and hotels on my own nowadays.

i did look up through various cruise websites, the quotes i got for 2A+2C cost more than USD 6000+

i did search through bestcruises, that\'s the website you quote when we discussed about voyager Of the seas. I then go to respective cruise sites to look for prices. most return to me cost more than USD 600 for 2A 2C! would agent be able to give us better prices? that\'s way too overpriced! I thought purchasing cruise only package won\'t be too costly? or Alaska cruise itself is this pricey?

i also found Disney cruise does have cruise to go there too!
