My son is the same. At the beginning, I could make him cooperate by only giving him toys, but it was no work after several wks. Then I gave him something special other than toy, but it was unworkable after several wks. Then I asked him some question, like how the cat cry, what is elephant look like, he was very concentrated to answer my question and allow my to change his diaper. However, it is also unworkable now. I have no more new method now and only can blame him and ask someone else to assist me to change diaper!! It is mess up when 大便! :-x :-x
It's a battle for me to change diaper for my boy since he's about 4 months old when he rolled over. It's even tougher when he crawled and now running.
Yes, you can try the training pants (pull-up) but it's more expensive though. Now Pampers' training pants are availalbe for size 1Yr to2 Yr old (starting from 18 lbs). Not sure if it's the same in HK.

Sy mom,
my son is now 15 mths old, he dose not tell me about elephant by wording, but pulls his nose to represent the long nose of elephant, he can also make the animal sound to tell me what the animal it is. Such as 咪 for cat, Mmmnn for cow.....
He can do this since he is 11 mths.
Anyway, any mom know why child unwilling to be changed diaper? it is really funny and strange?!
