My Bun Bun is arriving tonight. I'm quite nervous, first time having a maid.
What did you guys do on the first night?
Talk about rules? Have dinner together? Ask her to do housework right away?
I haven't got anything ready, like pillow / towel/ slippers etc. Do i need to take her to buy these things?

You need not be nervous cos you are the boss not maid.
1.If she arrives in night time. The starting salary should take effect tomorrow. So you do not ask her to do housework.

3.Have dinner together? It's up to you. But you must provide food for her.
4. You must ask her to sign your house rule, working time-table within 3-4 days. For details, pls refer the following address: Amend or delete whicherever not approptiate.
Please be reminded everthing must be black and white. Otherwise,You must suffer later on.
The maid always try to test your bottom line and demand more & more.
Don't treat him too good when she just arrived. Otherwise she thinks it's "Old Fung". After 6 months service with you, if you find her reliable. You can give her some incentive and treat her good.
