my maid contract and visa will end on Oct 31 this year. I have arranged the contract and visa renewal and so the new contract will start on Oct 31 2015 until 2017 Oct 31.
however, now I don't want to hire her anymore and wanna use her until the current contract finish.
My question is .. do I need to give her one month notice or pay one month even I quit her at the contract end? as the new contract is arranged and approved by Consulate and HK Immigration, of course not yet effective. I really don't know under this situation, do I still need to pay one month more to her.

U should let her know ASAP that you are not going to renew her contract, normally should be a month b4.. But u can try to pay her little bit more or a reference letter to compensate it ...
