Try banana, papaya, or even change other brand of baby formula (milk). My 2 sons took Snow XX before and they seldom suffered this toilet problem.
Water is a must. My younger son didn't like water also so we tried many methods. One day, we gave him a cup (with straw) and he enjoyed his way. Now he accepts water from cup, but not from bottle.
Every baby's development is different. You may give him a try. If not, there are many baby training cups available for sale at major baby products outlet. Those cups enable the babies to switch from bottle to cup gradually. No matter what, it is the baby's own feeling of what tickles his fancy. We paretns can only encourage and try.
Suggestions from others here are also worth trying.
