Nurse of Wyeth said that my milk do not contain enough nurients!!!

I am very angry :-x . Nurse of Wyeth just call me to promote the S-26 formula milk, she said that I MUST give formula milk to baby at least twice a week since breastmilk does not contain enough nutrient after 6-months. She said my baby is too light. Actually my BB was 17lbs when she is 9-months-old, the doctor also said that she is healthy (never sick since birth .... Touchwood) and very smart as compared with baby at same age. Now my BB is 11-months-old, fully breastfeed since birth (2 meals of congee now). If she do not have enough knowledge about breastfeeding, how can she give such a RUBBISH opinions ......

Don't be angry with her, just feel pity for her. If she has the wrong impression of breast milk, then teach her with patient. I think she daren't call you again.

Don't be angry...it will affect our "milk volume".
by the way,I agree with yuenwa, you can teach her with patient. or if unfree, just show no interest in Wyeth products at this moment.

我覺得應該投訴惠氏,香港為左鼓勵媽咪餵母乳,有法例規定唔比奶粉為6個月以下奶粉賣廣告,但惠氏就一直用間接手法嚇餵母乳媽媽,其實我都想投訴佢地(可惜我無記低電話對話日期),只係唔知用咩野途徑.

以下係一次惠氏姑娘打電話比我講o既野.當時我bb兩個月大~~~

惠氏:bb兩個月大la喎,食緊奶粉定人奶呀?
我:食緊全人奶.
惠氏: 咁有無11磅呀?!!
我: 有喎,11磅半添!(我一聽已經知佢想嚇我,不過我bb夠肥,佢嚇我唔倒,仲比我大返佢轉頭.)
惠氏:不過餵人奶出街唔方便喎...
(我無答佢,因為我覺得餵人奶出街仲方便過餵奶粉,帶我自個人就得.而且bb咁細,我根本唔會帶佢周圍去.)
惠氏:呢排天氣冷,你都要小心身體.
我:我都係剛剛感冒好返.
惠氏:係呀,咁你病對d奶質都有影響喎....

呢個所謂惠氏姑娘講d野完全唔scientific,因為research都話媽媽小病對奶質無咩唔好影響,只會多左d抗體;兼且專業操守都有問題,應該投訴!!!

其他公司好似ENFAMIL都無咁樣,一知我仲餵緊母乳都只會話,"哦係呀,bb六個月以下食人奶最好,六個月以後如果你要奶粉開米糊就可以考慮下我地喇."

There is no eed to be angry. I used to be in the formula milk industry and the nurses that I hired were all trainned to be honest about breast milk, ie the best nurient source for babies. So I think the proble should be with this particular nurse. If I were you, I will report to Wyeth both in writing and by phone and express that you are very upset by this nurse and ask them to give you an explanation and appology in writing. Tell them that if they do not do as your request, you will wite to Next magazine. This is how to teach these corporates a good lesson.

The nurse was actually right in a sense that mama's milk cannot provide enough nutrients for 6 month or older babies, that's why we have to introduce solid food to babies at that stage. NOT NECESSARILY Gold S-26! They are just 斷章取義。
