讀書時英文老師教if後一定加passed tense, 如if I had. 但今日上司話應該用if I have.
究竟邊個啱？

但我同我小朋友讀緊編朗誦，最後嗰句係
“If i had been a bird”

好簡單咁講：

if I had 係講緊D無咩可能發生既事件，例如 If I had 25 hours a day, I would..... 現實中唔會一日有25 小時，呢D情況就會用If I had 去picture 一樣野。

可能性大，用present tense

If I eat a lot, I will get fat.

可能性小，甚至冇可能，用past tense

If I had $1,000,000,000, I would donate half of my money to the needy.

If I had an elder brother, I would be very happy. (因已出世，冇可能有哥哥）

3.聯想/可能性低
-I would donate if I had extra money.
-I would donate if I were you.

4.已成過去
I would have donated if I had had extra money.
