Roast chicken or other kind of roast, I normally will cook more...so we can keep some for the next meal with a twist....such as...
roast chicken / beef / pork or any other kind .....for sandwich....the girls love it.
Sometime the meat from Chinese dish, I will dice up the meat and add on fresh vegi to make fried rice or other simple dish for lunch.
I will change the mode/ style of the dish completely rather than just heat it up.
Sometimes, they don't even know the dish is from the left over.
In this way, is not only to minimise wastage but making myself to think more and diversify the use of the ingredients.
