My next levy is on 27 Aug and existing maid works for me half year. I want to confirm the final cost that I need to pay:
1)return air ticket fee
2)one month salary(if maid agrees not to have it, can it skip this and use one month notice instead?)
3)Phil consulate fee and HK immi fee
Honestly if the one month salary can't be skipped, I can't save any money at all:
$7200(3 instalments)-$3480-$1500(tkt fee)-$297.5-$160 - $1800(additional $100/month of new salary) = -$37.5
If I do it this week, do you know that I still have enough time to proceed?
Besides, my friend's agent said the same maid can't be extended the contract earlier near end of July 2010. Each maid/contract can only enjoy ONCE on the suspension of levy. Is it true? Thanks very much!
Well, actually the second contract levy must be waived in my case as the contract will end 27 Feb 2010. I am wondering th $7200 left levy can really be waived and I can really save money.
Anyone know that the one month notice date can be moved to July or not e.g. 25 July??
