Actually, her skin is so bad that I took her to doctor la, the doctor gave steroid cream, also advised me to change formula and use another kind of bath oil. Hope she'll be alright, quite worry to see your baby keep scratching ...
So, what kind of ezcema does your baby have? Does your baby start weaning yet? I was planning to wean her next week and told to hold for another week to see if there is any further improvement....
My baby is suspected to have cow's milk and soy allergy andthat could have worsen his ezcema. My bbs born in Australia and it is very common for AUstralia's bb to have ezcema.
I'm breastfeeding my bb so I am avoiding dairy and soy. Yousaid you were going to wean your baby. Does that mean you are breastfeeding Jasmine? I have started feeding my bb solids.
My experience with ezcema is, you gotta use the steroid cream if the skin is red and itchy. Without the steroid, it's not gonna heal. And if the skin's broken as a result of scratching, there might be a bacteria infection and you might end up havingto use heavier medication. So, When ever i see rash flare-up,I'll use a layer of steroid immediately, to avoid the rashes spreading. For bathing, i use Dermaveen Bath and Shower Oil that contains oat. That is quite good. And also I use QV creamto keep the skin mosturised.
