I will go to Bangkok with my husband and our 3 children in July, could you tell me if Yo Yo Land in Seacon Square worth to go, since I know its quite far away ... thanks!
Seacon Square is a very big shopping mall. Inside has 'Lotus Supercenter' tim, you can spend at least half day there. YoYo Land on 7/F and open on weekend only.(not very sure)
By taxi around 1/2 hr, fare around HK$20 only.(very cheap and convenience) or by BTS to On Nut Station then by taxi 10 mins.
You have total 5 persons, go everywhere should by taxi. (within 15 mins also HK$10, cheaper than by BTS)
I have went to Seacon Square's YoYo Land in this Chinese New Year (Jan 2004), honestly speaking, it is a place which NOT WORTH to go unless you will pass by this shopping mall.
The date we went there is the 2nd date of Chinese New Year (年初二), it was less than 10 visitor in this YoYo Land, there are some 機動遊戲, one child play ground, some photo albumn manchine, no entrance fee, you need to buy ticket if you want to try any game. Personally, I found all of them are quite old and not interesting. I stayed in the YoYo Land less than one hour, than we go to shopping, nothing special, a food court in the basement, but I found it is quite stink. I book a car from my hotel to YoYo Land, I remember it takes at least one to one and half hour (I stay at Shangri-la Hotel).
In addition, the Leoland is already closed more than one year, last year when I go to Bangkok in Aug, I intend to go to Leo Land with my family because as it described in Mr. Wu xx's web site, it seems very interesting, so I send fax, email to Leo Land to check the detail, the open and close hour etc, since I need to provide my schedule to my agent to book the car. There was no response to my email, the fax number is wrong, than I checked with my travel agent and asked her to contact their Bangkok agent to find out. Finally, I was told by the travel agent that the Leo Land was already shut down. But don't know why Mr. Wu's web site did not update on that.
Somtimes, some guide book will describe some destintations how exciting it is, finally, it made me so disappointed and look like a fool. Of course, the bottom line is different from people to people, maybe I feel it is not interesting, but other people may feel is it very interesting. 如有任何地方得罪，請勿見怪。
