I also bought a watch and a pair of platinum diamond earrings for my sister as wedding gifts. The watch is an entire white gold with diamond bezel vintage watch. The watch can be an hierloom which she can pass on to her daugther. I think getting gold/diamonds are more long lasting than a trendy stainless steel watch.
