My Indonesian Maid told me Sept is their New Year and she will 禁食 at that month and only eat at night.

Then, she requested me to give her the mobile phone during working hour and night also. She said she needs to SMS to Indonesia to check what time she can eat.....

Usually, I only pass her back the mobile phone after working hour at night and holiday.

Is there anyone experience this as above and any tips for me? I cannot understand why she needs to be told what time to eat at night. Also, if she cannot eat in the day night, why she needs the mobile phone?

佢地係要跟太陽升落黎禁食，
即晚上太陽落山嘅時候就要食野
（break the fast）
唔一定食好多，
飲啖水都可當break fast，
不過要响果刻做。
跟住成晚任何時間都可食野，
（直到太陽升起之前）
所以有一部份人會响太陽未升之前食一餐勁嘅。

其實有好多途徑可以查太陽升落時間。

仲有就係，佢响邊度就跟返當地時間架嘛，唔洗用SMS問印尼啦，佢响香港梗係跟香港時間啦。

佢真係跟返印尼時間但身處香港嘅話，
咁太陽未落山佢就要食野喇，
因為香港個太陽係遲過印尼落山架，
係遲差唔多成個鐘。

叫佢唔好傻喇，
想用手電揾第二個籍口，
香港除咗佢仲有本地回教徒，唔通佢地又跟印尼時間咩？！

我要佢食野,我講明唔食野,我會叫 agent打比佢,所以唔駛比mobile phone 佢....

So, I have no idea why she needs the mobile phone on day time as she cannot eat anyway.....

But, if she just wants to cheat me and use the mobile while she is taking care my baby. Then, such execuse only can last for one month...... So strange so that I cannot understand if any other purpose behind .....

um...咁又係.....

So, I will tell her I can give her the mobile phone only night time but no way on day time because she should not use mobile during working hours....

But then, she will be unhappy, worry she will use my baby 出氣..........

so many things to be considered as a working mother...:(

唔洗膽心喎，你印個表俾佢啦，佢係衰嘅，無籍口都會對你個BB唔好。唔洗等今時今日，依家無手提佢都會唔開心對你亞B唔好㗎喇。

Yes. so, to respect her reglion and understand she may want the mobile phone at night. I give her the mobile after 7pm and ask her to give me back in the morning.

well, last night, ( the 2nd day of Sept), I went home late as OT . abotu 8pm, her face so dark.. Orginally, i dont know what happened. Then, I note that I have not given her the mobile as my mother did not remember to give to her as that is not normal practice.

So, i gave it to her when I back home and say po po forgot to give u. U can ask next time if she forgot and I may be late from work.

Then, she stop dark face .....

I learnt that, once you start to treat them better, they will dark more face to you when u are little bit failed from what they expected. Even more demanding than my boss....

多數都係零晨四點唔食野到晚上七點架啦
仲洗check, 加上都係跟當地時間, 搵野來做.

都唔明而家仲有d 僱主咁蠢會信佢地?

在唔影嚮佢地工作下, 我絕對尊重佢地宗教, 但早上開始唔食野唔飲水, 點做粗重野? 照顧bb?

我上年個衰印就係咁, 佢直頭欏正牌釣魚, 個bb 喊又唔睇... 佢地要齋戒, 咁果個月人工係咪可以唔收??

佢地9月30日就開齋啦, 到時可以食野.
佢地既新年係每3年推前一個月的. 即連續3年的9月係新年; 下3個3年就係8月, 如此類推. 下年的新年係8月啦!
