you mean $10K or $1,000,000? for $10K.. yes I guess quite a lots of family will have $10K cash for urgent use... but for 1 million... cash? i doubt about that...

Same, if got 1 million it won't be cash as deposit rate is so low. Use 1 million to invest got much better return.

Anyone who put 1 mil in cash anywhere other than an investment vehicle is a dumb ass. Ithink most people with this amount or up will at max put aside 50K for emergency use.
