I strongly agree that we should respect the relationship between husband and lai lai. Sometimes, lai lai can do things that make us very angry. But when calm down, I know I love her so much. Not for other reason, just because she gave birth to my dear husband.
After I become a mother myself, I understand that that all mothers in the world love their children sooooo much. And I see the relationship between my husband and lai lai in a different way. I always feel sorry to my lai lai cos my hubby is always so busy and spend all his leisure time with me and my baby. Lai lai calls us every week. Sometimes, my hubby is still working and not yet home. She just say "no need to tell him, just want to make sure everything is fine".
She is really a good mother even though she does make me very angry (for minor things, you know sister-in law and lai lai stuff) sometimes. I still love her as a mother.
I didn't cry yet ... just that the eyes and the nose turn red.
Makes me think how often I use the excuse of child, work, all sorts of things to put my parents on the side, call them only when necessary, and have dinner with them only for the different festivities, ...
Just picked up the phone and invited them for lunch.
