How do you know your baby has silent reflux if it is not told by doctor?
My son has silent reflux. ...
my babys symptoms are 100% matched with silent reflux\'s. so i believe she has it. however the few dr that i saw just claim that those symptoms are normal and diagnose as gas wind and colic problem. we have tried infacol, gripe water and another brand of wind drop just doesnt work. she is still in pain. could you let me know the contact detail of the dr? did your son recover after the dr treatment ? thanks and appreciate your sharing!!
My son reflux problem caused sleeping problem and inflection in nose, so is rather serious.He has been on medication for 3 years and finally can completely off medicine 6 months ago.
Dr Barbara lam is very famous for treating premature born babies. She is very full and you may take a long time to get your first appointment. She is very patient and experience.... But super expensive.
You can check online to get her clinic number. Feel free to ask if you have other questions.
Btw, how milk... Carry your girl for 30 mins before put her to sleep. This may help.
thanks for the info, we tried to carry her in vertical position after feeding but reflux still keep happening and we can hear her keep swallowing stuff..she cries in her sleep its so painful to watch.. she is now only able to sleep for abt 4 hrs on and off each day and she constantly has snoring sound in her nose. im really worried that its going to affect her health and growth seriously..and its really frustrating that silent reflux problem gets neglected by many drs in hk..we are going to try seeing her pedi dr at birth at st teresa. if its going nowhere then i think we will hv to see the dr you recommended as last resort. thanks for sharing as i couldnt find much info abt this in hk. only able to get relevant info from foreign countries websites...
My suggestion is better to make appointment with Dr Barbara lam first (藍章翔） as it may take a month to get an appointment for new patient. (Is my guess). If your Dr in St. Teresa hospital can handle then you can cancel the appointment later.
I can feel your pain. There was a period that my boy cannot breath well that need to sleep on high chair. Your description really sound like what happened to my boy.

My son case is rather serious one but he survives and now his weight is only marginally below 50%.
Your girl will grow and do not get too worry.
