How many times do you feed your baby per day?

My baby is 8 month-old. I feed him every 4 hours.
Is it alright?

My girl is 8-month too. I feed her a formula every 3 hrs coz she drinks only 5oz per meal.

Her weight gain improves under this "Drink less, more meals" method.

In such, it's no definite formula for feeding your child. It depends on how many they take for every meal.

As you said, she drinks 5 oz every 3 hours,what about solid food? What are you feeding her?

My baby boy almost 9 months next week. We are feeding him 3 formula milk and 2 congee/ cereal meal a day. Also, we will give him some banana in between meals. He loves it very much! Now his eating patten as follows:

7AM 7-8oz formula milk
11AM Congee (3/4 -1 bowl)
3PM 7-8 oz formula milk
7PM Congee (3/4 -1 bowl)
11-12PM 6-7 oz formula milk

My boy looks still thin, even though I follow the feeding guideline given by health center. I wonder?! ?-(

I will give a fresh potato, carrot mixed with formula milk to her once per day. She love it and can complete a full bowl.

When she is with her grandma in week days, she will be given cereal mixed with milk.

Her weight now is 7.4kg when she is 7-month. So far so good la.

My baby is 9 months and his weight is 8.5kg.

7:30am Formula Milk (6-7 oz)
8:30am Biscuit (1-2 pieces)
11:30am Congee (1 bowl)
2:00pm Fruit (Apple or Banana)
3:30pm Formula Milk (7-8 oz)
7:00pm Congee (1 bowl)
11:00pm Formula Milk (6-7 oz)

my baby is 4 1/2 month. I feed him like this:

7am (formula milk 5-6 oz)
11am (formula milk 6 oz)
3pm (formula milk 5-6 oz)
7pm (formula milk 5-6 oz)
12pm (formula milk 5 oz)

is this ok? but sometimes he only takes 3-4 oz per feed... I haven't started solids yet
