Which plasma is good, especially TV picture quality.

I want to buy a plasma because it will cause less harm to my daughter's eyes, any suggestion? As my family only watch TV, which one does it better? Summer holiday is coming, I am afraid my daughter will be "four eyes".

i want to buy too, but i think LCD is better than plasma for its later maintaining.
by the way, if u want to buy, i have a choice for u that "hitachi" is the best now!~

Comparing Plasma and LCD TVs:

Plasma TV - Lower price, bigger screen, higher maintenance cost, shorter life.
LCD TV - Higher price, small screen, lower maintenance cost, longer life.

For LCD TVs, Sharp and Samsung are good choice.

Hi,

I only consider plasma because LCD is too expensive now for big screen "40". Why Hitachi is the best now? How about Philips, Samsung & NEC?

千祈唔好買SAMSUNG...我依家都係做緊電器行,佢地SHOW咗部SAMSUNG42吋等離子電視,個畫面唔多平咁,尤其佢地播卡拉OK版演唱會,中間啲字永遠零舍細同窄,側面啲字就變大同闊...反之其他等離子電視就無咁既問題...我睇咗咁耐,我都係覺得東芝同埋樂聲牌至好,夠清嘛...至於LCD,我就首選SHARP,但個人認為唔好揀飛利浦,因為佢部部機後面都好鬼熱,反而其他機又無咁既問題,東芝既LCD我就嫌佢貴得滯,唔抵買,同埋個款麻麻地...日立啲等離子機就有啲'矇',唔多清晰...

好多sales 都話philips plasma 睇tv最好..

我自己比較過. Philips 的tv tuner 係幾得o下.
但我係朋友家, 用Philips Plasma 睇完只dvd... 令我卻步...
o的畫面動作一快.. quality 即由dvd轉為vcd..

唔知其他牌子有冇呢個問題..

我自己都hold住唔買plasma住..再睇o下先..

飛利浦啲機係好清呀,不過聽啲同事講佢啲質素就....................叫我買第二隻牌子喎!仲話費時我嘥錢咁話(但我都無話買....=.=)...

我想問 samsung 係咪有 5-7年保養? 呢排我都睇緊 plasma, sharp 好似唔錯, 42' 係咪 4萬左右? 因為我地心水係 sharp 或 hitachi 或 samsung

Try Pioneer. Its vivid color is best for Cartoons. Its high brightness is good for viewing with ambient day lights. (I consider Panasonic not bright enough.)
