Don't want to live with mother-in-law, but feel guilty
We,the whole family, are christian and in the same church. We have lived together for 9 years. I really want to seperate but I feel guilty to let her (71 year-old) live alone or with a maid.
I never complain about her to my friends as they all know her. She has a good reputation in the church. But she's really difficult to get along with. My husband always comfort me : she is old, it is difficult for her to change. I agree. So I tolerate but I am very very upset.

Yes, she is old and may be no longer to live with you. It is so lonely for her to live alone. One day if she has any accident, nobody will know.
I think what we do , our God will give us double or more.
God told us to love everybody. What we serve to the poor or little brother, it is the same to do with him. Forgive her just like the God forgive you.
God bless you.
