My maid's contract shall be completed this October. Most likely we shall renew the contract with her. I think she's alright in taking care my boy. At least she loves my boy who is now 28 months old. My boy is like a sticker and he always sticks to the maid. She requests to take the holiday in Christmas + new year time. Would you allow her? I expect that the air ticket would be very expensive. Do anybody has idea how much it would cost? Anything that I need to pay attention? ?-(
Can you first of all, in October, settle her 1st contract's holidays and air ticket by paying money?
When she starts her 2nd contract, pay money in lieu of air ticket. If she wants to take leave in Christmas, she may do so as long as she buys her own tickets and take the holidays in the form of advance leave.
My maid also take the annual leave around the Christmas Time. It's very expensive. For Manlia, is around $2,500. If far away, it costs more. For my maid, she live in ilolo. It's around $2800.
