Imgine when you go to Africa to work now... What do you want to know when you arrive ? Write it down and I think these are the things you maid would like to know as well.
The list could be too long, some items could be:
- how is the money (notes & coins) in hk look like.
- how to go back home (transport, octopus...)
- how to take operate the home appliances
- how to get along with the family
- how to cook chinese food
- how to manage time to send your kid school
- what to do if emergency, where to run ?
- too many, too many
Usually, I start telling her my house rules, show her the cooking and etc...
