Any good and reliable Car insurance (Conprehensive)? GIO or NRMA or AAMI? How about "Road Side Assistance"? I only know NRMA got this service, but do I need to buy their Car Insurance to join this service? Thanks!
If you bought a new car - most come with their own roadside assistance for the first 3 years or so (eg. Holden & Lexus do). You do not need to have comprehensive car insurance with NRMA to be a member for their roadside assistance. GIO / NRMA / Alliance are all good - shop for best price. AAMI - I heard that they restrict you to do you repair at certain places. Better check fine prints as usual.
Friends at work have mentioned Youi.com.au as being about $200+ cheaper - as they do not have retail office overheads. They are popular in QLD, is only just started to extend to NSW. Though I have not tried this yet.
I just brought a 2nd hand Government Toyota car, it is only 2 years old. Do you think I need to get road side assistance?
I know AAMI are restricted for repairing site.
Thanks again!

Thanks agai ...
I myself would get the roadside assistance as I am worried about getting stranded. Luckily my calls to NRMA Roadside Assistance in the last 5 years were both for flat batteries.
