My baby girl was born on 16/2, she still needs to drink milk very frequently during night time, every night around 11pm to 4am, wants me to breast feed all the time (almost 1.5 hours want once), I dont have much milk and she would be crying, but she refused to drink by bottle ar! however, she can sleep very well at day time, can drink milk every 4 hours and sleep in between meals.....i know she mixed up day time and night time, but really dont know what to do..... I am very afraid she will keep this after I go back to work...... i really want to breast feed my baby, but it is very tiring
My baby born on Feb 3, I'm 60% breastmilk and 40% formula because I don't have enough bm for him. Now I will pump out my milk because he drinks faster :) My goal to feed bm is until 6 months old. He already 介夜奶 at 6.5 weeks automatically by himself. Now he has 5 meals per day (7am/11am/3pm/7pm/11pm).
I think he should be the type easy to raise. I read the book 從零歲開始 but I didn't follow all. At first, just try to separate each feed by 2.5 hrs. I won't let him keep crying and don't feed. But gradually he can wait for 2.5 hrs.
Regarding crying, if I know he changed diapers, full and nothing wrong, if he still crying when sleeping, I'll just pat him occassionally but not often. Now his sleeping pattern is put in bed, cry for few minutes and will sleep on his own.
From 2 months, he can smile at me sometimes when I smile at him. And now "train" him to move his hands and hold things.
my baby born on 24/2, i started cutting the midnight meal a week ago, so far so good, he now drinks at 12:30am (the only meal in formula) then can sleep until next morning 6am for 3 consecutive days... if he keeps doing good, then i reard him as successfully cutting the midnight meal la.
i'm surprised that many babies here are older than mine but you moms still feed them as frequently as in 2-2.5 hrs interval... i feed my baby 7 meals a day in 3 hrs interval, he got at least 10 diapers so i think it's ok. But i have to feed 50mins to 1 hr each meal....
I don't want to feed for so long time... i hope he can finish each meal in 20-30 mins so i have more time to rest.. any suggestion? Also do you moms have any way to increase the milk? I'm afraid i can't pump enough milk after work. I now pump around 20-25ml (each side) but the nurse says it's normal (I don't believe)...
