I just employed a 22 year old maid, because she worked in Singapore for 4 years with one employer. But I am a bit regret after signing the paper because I am afraid she is too young and may be can not concentrated at work. My daughter is only 4 years old and she needs a lot of attention . Apart from playing with her, I am worried if the maid is capable of taking care of her,?
Anyone has experience in employing such young maid? Please share
I have a young Filipina maid who is now 24, single. I employed her since my girl was born two years ago. So far, she's ok. As she is the bread winner of her family (she got 5 younger brothers and sisters at home), she is quite mature and treasures her job. I think age is not a problem is your helper is a kind and caring person. It all depends on her character. Give her a little bit more time to settle. If your girl is already 4 years old, you should not be worrying too much because at least your girl can talk and tell you what has happened. You maid does not have to change your kid's nappies / feed her with bottle, etc. She should not encounter much problem.
