My maid also sleeps at the living room now. I'm now wondering if I should prepare another bed for the new maid in my daughter's room. Actually I already got a new 子母床 in the room for my daughter and mother, so it is difficult to build another one on top of it (as the room is pretty small to accommodate an extra bed). Also 3 of them have to sleep together in the same room.... quite crowded.
I think that the employment contract has stated that the maid should have her privacy, such as certain sq. feet of space for her. She should have her storage space/closet, etc.
