Does she come from overseas? How long she stays at your home?
If I were you, I will list out her major problems and frankly tell her what we need from a helper. If she cannot fulfil our needs, we will find a new one.
It really works for my ex-maid. She came my home but only know how to take care the adults (my husband & me) and always missing my daughter if we are all at home.
I asked her "Do you know why I need to employ you?" She answered me "Cleaning & cooking".
I told her as I need to go out for work, I need a helper to take care of my daughter to provide a clean & safety enviroment plus tasteful food for her. HER REAL BOSS IS MY DAUGHTER. If my daughter said she don't like you then you will be fired.
Starts from that day, I saw she plays with her all the time, discuss the dinner menu and watching DVD together. Everthing puts her in the first priority. She knew my daughter loves corn, chestnut, she trys to learn more style to make difference dishes.
So, honestly to tell her who is her boss & assessor.
