We will be in Australia in May 2016, 6 days in Sydney and 5 days in Melbourne with 2 kids (1 and 5 years old).
will stay in Citadines on Bourke Serviced apartment in Melbourne, the feedback from the web were quite ok, but really can't comments until I really stay there... but it is at convenience location, reasonable price, so we have decided to choose it...
For local tour, i wanted to join some small tour company, however, some of them like Candy Tour doesn't accept baby under 3 years old, but even some of these kind of small tour company accept baby, they will charge for the baby (just AUD40-50 less than adult price as baby doesn't have to pay for entrance fee, so the tour fee is basically adult price less entrance fee etc...), so, the cost will be very expensive...
Finally, we booked Aubest Tour company to Yarra Valley and Philip Island (it is Mandarin tour), again, can't comment at this stage...
However, if you prefer English tour, there is another company named Melbourne Costal Touring, I am interested in, but my husband said this tour has too many spots to visit in one day, maybe it will not be too suitable for us with a baby... and this one also will charge some fee on the baby (at reasonable price at AUD65)
