I join this at last summer time when my girl is 2.5 yr old. Club med Ria Bintan is best for child esp your child is open mind and not very shy. You can join the petit club for your child too. Every night there are G.O. show like acrobat and it is very exciting. My girl enjoy very much. The beach is very beatiful. But don't book the room with sea-view because you need to walk upstair for 3 floor. One thing you need to certain is you need to take a boat(just like us travel to Macau) in singapore to Ria Bintan at nighttime and my girl feel sick and vomit. So don't give him a full stomach before.
did your kid join the petite club, may I know what kids will do in club ? I'm afraid 2.5 yr is too young to play game with no parents accompany & also, I've to pay extra charge for that, is it worthy ?
Where will you like much ? Phuket or Bintan or Kota Kinabula with kid ?
I didn't join the petite club because my girl is very shy and cannot stay with strange people. But I saw those child even very small and enjoy very much (they are mainly Singapore people and may be they are very familiar to that place) One thing I forgot to say is that the tourist are mainly Singapore people and there are seldom foreigner. If I compare those three place, actually I like Clubmed because it is very clean and the private beach is big and very suitable for child. But all the club med are the same in the world only the style is different. I think if you join club med Phuket or Bintan is not much different. But one thing is that it is quite inconvenient to travel to Clubmed. And Kota Kinabula, I think it more suitable for adult not for child.

Thanks very much for infomation. I decided to go to Bintan by package but not Clubmed, because I think my boy is too young & won't enjoy it.
