HELP!!! my maid loves my baby very (too?) much. Should i replace her???
She has only been here for 5 days.
Day 1
- She spent almost 3 hours holding the baby.
Day 4
- She stared at my friend who talked loudly to the bb.
Day 5 (yesterday)
- She asked whether she can sleep with bb when bb is less troublesome (my bb only eats when she's sleeping)
- She asked my husband what his and bb's names are and write them down.
- She took 2 pictures of bb using her camera!!

it's good that your maid loves your bb. i think at this moment it's only the very very beginning, you can't judge whether her love is very true or not. keep an eye on her. even if she really loves your bb so much, don't worry, it won't be bad. what you need to do is to watch and show your care about your bb as much as possible so that your bb can feel you. it doesn't mean that you need to do all the work. but to ask everything about your bb like what time bb got fed, what time bb had pee pee or wee wee, what time took bath, what time played etc... if possible even if you are a working mother, try to take some time to play or feed your bb or change diaper for her/him once a day after work
your bb will know and feel how much you care about her/him and day by day, your bb will love you very much and can avoid the bb only likes the maid more than the mother.

I don't see this is a problem or a serious problem. I will also stare at the people who talk loudly to my baby. Also it's normal for the responsible maid to ask if it's okay for her to be in the same room with the baby. It will be more convenient for her to take care of the baby. Well, the better and closer relationships develop between the maid and the baby, the higher value of the maid added to your family. The maid is clever to know this theory.
I suppose I am a little overreacting. I am getting myself to believe that the maid misses her two sons too much so she has shown her feelings on my bb. I also suppose she needs the names for her prayers at night and on Sunday.

I was worried because my maid asked to sleep with the baby in her bed. She knows it is impossible to put the baby's crib inside her room because the crib is too big. We can just put it outside her room now.
Anyway, I appreciate the concern that my maid shows. I hope things will keep on as they are now.
