Is it said that nowadays it is better to pay by credit card? In case the company folds up, you can stop the payment and get the money back as the goods is not received?

I booked and paid my tickets like 4 months ago as I'm afraid I can't get the dates I want. And I've got the e-tickets from BA. Lucky.... I usually pay by bank transfer as they charge extra few % for ...
