HSBC has been 除淨 on 18-8-2004, if we were holding it on 17-8-2004, we will receive the USD0.13 dividend per share (around HKD1.0) on 6-10-2004. After 除淨, even we sell it, we can still able to collect dividend.

Watch closely on the market turnover, if daily turnover keep sustaining at above 10 Billion level, the market should still be ok. US shouldnt have any adverse news, except for CPI (as the low figure of July was mainly due to the lower oil price in July, yet the oil price for Aug is higher), OR, Terrorist attack (Which is out of everybody's control and no one will know when or if it would happen).
Normally, the market before US President Election is good.
