My indo maid's passport is expired in these few months. She said to me that the handling charge for renewal is $1000. Is that the case? She's only came here for 1 year.
She told me that $1000 is too expensive for her, may be she will just go back to Indo. I think she want me to sponsor her the charge. Am I responsible to do so? If you were me, what will u do? Pls advise. Thanks.

Thanks very much for your information. I will contact my agent for the said issue. But, I think I will not sponsor her for such fee too as I don't want her to use "Back home" as an excuse to demand me this or that!

I paid my maid passport renewal fee $ 280 at this August and settle the producer with my maid in the Indo consulate . Of course, you are not response for this fee. BTW, check with your agent for more detail.
