I gave birth at St Theresa and did not like the feeding arrangement. I didn't end up breast-feeding very well and I firmly believe the feeding arrangement at the hospital is to blame.
I swear that for my next birth I will not go to St Theresa and will go to Baptist Hospital instead (I only chose St Theresa at the end because it was closer to home)
法國每日有四次feeding session (around 8am, 11:30am, 3pm and 7pm). 其他時間will be feed by the nurse. You can bump milk for them to feed, but as you know, 初初幾日係唔好上奶, so very difficult.
They also push you to do milk supplement if you want to breastfeed. I know some mothers declined and basically the baby will go hungry between the feeding sessions (this is what I have heard, because I did do the milk supplement - 唔忍心呀!)
Because of the feeding arrangement and the milk supplement, 我一路都唔上奶 and bb got used to the bottle (easier and quicker for him - he is a big eater).
After I gave birth, I also found out other mothers who went to St Theresa and commented that they didn't like the feeding arrangement and will not go back there. I have also read other bk mums saying the same. It was unfortunate for me that before I gave birth, the responses I got was that a lot of mums like St Theresa and that it was cheaper than Baptist. No one told me anything about the feeding arrangement.
Hope this will help you all. Let me know if you have any further questions and hopefully you will have a better experience than me!
