we will travel to moscow for 3 days in the summer by ourselves. Where should we exchange the money? I found some blog suggesting ATM instead of exchanging the money at the bank.

I have asked HSBC and the staff said we can't exchange RUB in Hong Kong. She suggested me to bring US dollars to exchange in Moscow.

you are right that we can't exchange RUB in HK. I have asked the banks before. We will have US$ and Euro with us.
I also have heard the bank in Russia isn't good. they might charge a lot in the exchanging.
Before Moscow, we will be in Finland. Hopefully there would be ways to exchange some before I arrive Moscow.
Thanks! It sounds great if the expense won't be too expensive! We would spend a lot in Finland and Sweden in food so it is better for us to save some money in Moscow! hehe..
We would fly to Moscow from Helsinki. Maybe we could exchange in Finland first too. I also prepare ATM and hopefully we can find plus ATM there.
