I have signed a local completed contract Filipino helper on 15 Feb. Her visa with ex-employer was expired on 10 Feb and her ex- has extended 1-month visa with her, ie. until 10 Mar. The helper has submitted contract to P Consulate for attestation and will collect the contract on 24 Feb; on same day I will request her to submit the attested contract to Immigration for visa application. Anybody can advise me when the visa be granted? If the vsia is granted after 10 Mar, does the helper require to leave HK before report duty to me?

It seems that it is unnecessary to process the contract through agency. My new helper submitted the signed contract to Philippines Consulate for attestation last Tuesday (17 Feb) and got a receipt to collect it tomorrow (24 Feb).
What I understand that it requires to be processed through agency for those employing from overseas.

Just keep your updated that my new Philippino helper has successfully collected the attested contract from Philippines Consulate today (24 Feb) and submitted the same together with the necessary visa application forms to Immigration Department this afternoon; and she is informed to collect her visa from Immigration Department two weeks later (12 Mar). Apparently, it is done by the helper, not necessary through agency.

I'm going to hire a helper but her old contract is pre-terminated (terminate earlier). In this case, do I need to apply thru agency or she can apply by herself?
