My baby grew some red spots on his legs and arms two weeks ago. The doctors said these are 風疹, which mainly caused by allergy. Even my baby takes the medicines, the red spots still come up on and off. Yesterday, i even found that there were some on his neck and ears and body.
Did any baby also have 風疹 before? How long it takes to recover? Please share your experience. Thanks!!

My baby also had 風癩when he was eight to nine months old. Same case, he got red spots or rashes on his body, legs and hands, and sometimes on his face. The doctor also said that it was allergy but i could not find out the source. He took medicine but still got rashes on and off. Finally the rashes disappeared gradually. I had not tried anything such as 開奶茶or 薏米水which some advised me to give him as he might be 濕熱 to develop such rashes. Up till now i don't know why he got the rashes but luckily the rashes went away naturally.

How long does it take for your baby to recover? and which milk powder did you give your baby??
My mother-in-law said the milk powder/cereal are very 熱 氣 which may be the cause. So i give him some 薏米水 but the situation still not improve. Already 3 weeks la.....i am very worry le!!
I think my baby is the same case. This morning her body have a lot of red dot come out (especially on the arms & legs), I bring her to see the Dr. this afternoon. The doctor just said this is one kind of allergy . Because of I still feed her with breast milk, the doctor ask me a lot of things about what I eat ( I eat chips on sunday night !). He also ask if I gave her anything new to eat . As there is quiet a lot of reason can cause allergy, he have no ideal of it at all.
He give me some cream and medicine to make feel not so itchy. The Dr. said she will be better and better within this few days.

Then it might be really not the same. After we feed her the medicine (prition?) my girl is better today.
Even though it might not be the same case, I hope Marcus & all the baby here will get well soon!
