I understand there are lots of arguments and doubts among our employers on this OWWA. But still nobody can tell us what it really is and whether or not it is compulsory.
If there is any employer who has renewed her helper without using agent (agents may include this fee in the payment) and has NOT paid any OWWA, please share with us so that we know it MAY NOT be compulsory.

Hi, Alam,
After my maid collected all the document from Phillippine Consulate and she told me that I need to pay the OWWA fee. Furthermore, she also told me that after applied the visa from Immigration Department. She need to get " Overseas Employment Certificate" from Philippine Consulate. Do you know what is it. ??
