For any career, we need to think whether we are fit for that industry. The company background is important. The workmates are also important. If you know everything, you don't need any training. On the contrary, you need someone to help you on training. However, a trainer is important.
For insurance industry, I suggest you "test" your direct leader first. Is she/he a responsible person, does she/he has enought time for training you. You will need lots of professional training in this field, I presume.
