今日收到信話我個名on the list,可能會被抽中做陪審員!
我係全職媽媽,無人幫,自己一腳踢湊bb,得閑死唔得閑病,最重要係bb全埋身,冰奶雪奶一概唔食.就算佢肯食,都無人幫我睇bb.
萬一抽中,我可唔可以用呢個為理由而唔做陪審員?
有無人試過呀?

可以立即向法庭查詢但相信要提供你正需哺乳的証明文件. 相信法官會體諒, 除非法官說你可以帶bb到法庭哺乳,或者這是可能的,(這也是合理的), 如果法官不讓你哺乳, 他/她可能觸犯了'家庭崗位歧視條例".

請告訴我們有何進展/如何解決, 因為其他媽媽也有可能抽中的. 謝謝.

You can write a letter to apply for exemption. You state your reason clearly and you may also tell when you will be available next ttime.

其實暫時只係話在名單上,可能被抽中,若抽中就會被傳召上庭啦!
請問'家庭崗位歧視條例'如何保障哺乳媽媽或全職媽媽呢?
奶媽哪有証明文件呢?我如何証明正在哺乳?
如果帶埋bb上庭,我驚佢喊,個官會話佢蔑視法庭啊!
我諗佢唔會比我帶bb去,但唔帶bb去,又無人幫我睇bb,咁咪迫我'獨留bb在家'?bb無奶食,又可以告我'疏忽照顧'!

只係on list，唔駛太擔心，到抽中佐先寫信去解釋你照顧BB的情況，法庭多數會體諒，唔駛你做的。放心喇！

你用咩理由呀?係咪要餵哺母乳?還是全職媽媽呀?
係几時既事呀?之後仲有無話將你個名放返响個list度?

I have the experience of being selected as a jury for 10 years ago (before marriage)

No need to worry at the moment when you are on list. You can write letter to apply for exemption with reasonable ground, that is, direct breastfeeding your baby with his/her age. You need to state the time when you will be available in future.

If the court accept your application, then they can put your name aside. Until your available time come, the letter of selection will then sent to you. This time you have to appear in front of the court and present for the whole selection process.

真係不用現在擔心. 抽中就如另外位有經驗的媽媽教咁做.

我想你可以叫你的家庭醫生証明你正在哺乳.

I also received such kind of letter when I was pregnant. I wrote a letter for exemption.

I remembered that there is a phone number on the letter. U may call and tell them your case: full time mama and direct-feeding your baby. I believe u can get the exemption by writing a letter to them.

As I got this letter when my baby is 4months(Jan 09), I wrote to the court (clearly states the address in the appendix, seems admiralty high court) and tell them I am a new mun and lack of sleep since baby born so I need to take rest in the daytime to get full recovery from gave born. I also states my avaliable day( I say after baby's 8months) I sent this letter before CNY and get the approval for exemption 1 week after CNY (very quick!!). In the appendix ,it clearly states the apply for exemption letter must xx days before the court day. So you better write the letter asap. I didn't provide any supporting doc as I want to send out the letter asap. Surely if the court request supporting I can give my son's birth certificate.


In fact, it is my second time of receiving this letter. The first time is 4 years ago I really being selected as Jury of a high court case and study the case for 1+ month. Honestly, it is nice to have this experience as I learnt a lot about the law when being Jury, hahaha. Also, can escape from work for that month. If my baby not that young I think I want to be Jury again

The name will automatically back to the list after a certain time which is mentioned by the court sec in my last time of being jury. Even I had been jury for 1 time , also on the list after 4 year .

我真係比人抽中咗！本來要29/2/2009去高院比人"簡"，咁我打電話去陪審員秘書署度(信上面有哂聯絡電話架喇)嗰度個職員話其實就算我地肯去，佢地見到我地個肚都唔會比我地做！但若果費是浪費時間(因為要好早報到架！)佢就叫我FAX懷孕証明..(係乜都得總之証明到就得，我係比咗贊育照結構個REPORT佢既！)咁仲要加多一封，係咁2寫兩隻字話點解唔做，連埋啲個人資料..名/ ID NO./週數/簽名咁 比佢地！佢地就會APROVE架啦！之後仲會有封信比返我寫明批我唔使去咁囉！但就冇寫幾時又會抽過我...不過我諗都要同一般人士一樣︰選中你，但人地唔簡你..你咪有兩年唔使再煩囉！HEHE.......

i received the same letter 2 months ago. You can send a letter to High Court, state you are a full time mother and still breast feeding together with the birth certificate, they will exempt you.

我已去信講明我係full-time mom同要breast feed,但回覆說我只是on the list,如抽中要出庭先再去信,到時才會考慮我既情況喎!

請問你係响候選名單中已去信並獲豁免,還是真的抽中要出庭時才去信獲豁免呀?
