我是煮西式的。
1)beef cover with flour, fried it until golden color. Please on plate
2) a bit oil on pan, fried the bacon. Place with the beef together
3)oil on pan, put onion and garlic and cook about 2 mins, add carrot and add tomato paste. I usually add about 3 spoons for 2 packs of beef. Need to fried quickly, the paste will burn easily
4) add beef and bacon in pan
5) beef broth and red wine. As I cook 2 packs of beef, I add 1 red wine and I big beef broth
6) cover. wait until it brings to boil, turn the heat to low, cook for 1hrs.
7) turn off the heat, don't remove the cover and let it sit for 30mins
8) turn on heat low heat again 30mins
9)turn off the heat, don't remove the cover and let it sit for 30mins
Repeat step step 7&8 until it's tender

Hope it help. My husband loves this dish so I cook a big pot every time. I just bought a pressure cooker. Still trying to find a way to use it and have the same taste.
