You need to pay her this time however if she need further followup, bring her to government hospital for outpatient, if problem still exist, the government doctor will refer her to public clinic for followup. Each time is less than $100 and you can claim from insurance. Don't let her to see private doctor again.

1)Is this your new helper ?
2)Pls tell her clearly that she must tell you before consult doctor and tell her you only will responsible for Govt doctor
3)For this $500.-
a/I'm not sure do you need to pay or not, you can check with your agent.
b/Call your insurance agent and fill in a claim form, but probably cannot claim full amount.
