1 GB CF card?

Hi

I want to buy a 1 GB CF card for my DC, any good suggestion and any market information, please?

I went to Broadway HK$810 and Fortress HK$830 for the same Sandisk 1 GB card but did not buy.

Hi Chan,

I suggest you to go to some computer centres in Mongkok or Wanchai or SSP to check the price. They must selling it cheaper than Broadway or Fortress. For sample, the Sandisk Ultra 1G is just selling @$7xx.

I'd prefer SanDisk Ultra II 1G. You can buy it at Computer Centre and it should be cheaper than Broadway or Fortress.

I have seen Lexar 80X CF card (in Mongkok 星際) which is priced $799 (Ultra II only 60-66X). Is there anybody having and testing it for his DSLR? What's its performance?

Nikon D70 and D100 The Fastest speed is only 30X
Canon 1Ds MarkII The Fastest speed is 60X
Why need the 80X CF??
and now no USB card reader can read/write reach 80X

I just think the price of 1G Lexar 80X CF is almost the same as those of Sandisk Ultra II. But I really don't have experience in the durability and stability of Lexar CF.

The fastest speed of Nikon D70 only 20X ?! How do you know? Is this mentioned in its menu? Since I just bought it last week and have not yet gone through the menu thoroughly. So, why I need to buy even though ultra II CF card!?

But please ask careful if you buy Sandisk Ultra II 1G in computer plaza. It is sold in $7XX but they only provide 1 year 保養, because of 水貨. The price of it is about $800 if 行貨 (with 5 years 保養).
