My kitchen set ( not delivered yet) is also of the same design, i.e. built in induction cooker on the counter-top and oven below the induction cooker. But there is a ventilation outlet at the bottom ( 地脚線位), which looks like a 百葉窗. That will help release the heat. But I will use Brandt induction cooker. i am not sure if it is the same for Panasonic. But I suppose all induction cooker will specify a space of certain volume ( e.g. ? inches below the cooker should be kept clear) for release of heat and safety.

My oven will be Electrolux ( US brand). It was recommended by the kitchen design company. You may check it out in 西田 in Shatin. For Brandt induction cooker ( also recommended by the kitchen company), you may go to Gilman show room in Leighton Centre in Causeway Bay. Siemens also has induction cooker. Their show room is in Central.
The kitchen design company will order and install them for me, so I do not have to buy them myself.
Setting up a new kitchen is fun but lots of work. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
