Cooking by electricity is very popular in overseas. The main advantage is it make less smoke and less oily for the kitchen. It is also good for streaming and 炸 or soup boiling.
However, for those prefer 鑊氣 would feel disappointed. It require longer time for making the wok/pan hot compare with using fire. It is better for chosing some 'easy or fast to heat' pot/pan.
