I used this agency once as I tried to get a direct hire...it was recommended by the maid and I had been to their office and I think they served mostly direct hire Philippino maids. I did not hire the Philippino maid in the end because her ex-employer called me, right before her visa was out, telling me she was a bad maid (I found out later her name appeared in the blacklist in BK). The agents there seemed to be either Philippino themselves or half Philippinos ... my experience with the agency was okay.
My Bun Bun said this agency is very cheap commission for them, so they also like to through this agency. I also hired her from this agency but I was fired her!
No, as I remember if you find a maid though them, you only need to pay $2xxx but if you already have a maid in Philp. you need to pay $36xx. I hired the sister of my existing maid, that means I didn't need them to introduce maid from their list. I only need them to do the procedure for me, therefore they charged $36xx. I asked why I need to pay even more in this case? They said in this case, I am the one who paid all the commission but if I choose maid from their list, then the maid and I will share the charges.
