老公會到Melbourne 工作 (482 visa)，我哋會係Spencer Street租樓, 睇google map應該幾近University of Melbourne, 唔知小朋友可以簡咩學校呢？謝謝.

Exact 位置應該係 Lonsdale st, 經school zone搵到嘅學校係north Melbourne primary school. 間學校嘅ranking 好似一般，唔知我理解岩唔岩呢？

最近學校應該是Haileybury City, 行路都可以返學（其他附近學校見圖一），呢間係私校喺Melbourne 係最top 之一，全Victoria 省第二名（見圖二），但學費唔平（見圖三）。
如果你老公係working visa, 小朋友讀public school 都要俾dependent international student tuition fee, 對嗎？咁不如俾多啲讀private school, quality 爭好遠。

我當年喺澳洲都係讀private school, 有澳洲土生土長華人朋友本來讀開Balwyn High (top Melbourne public high), 轉咗去private school, 都覺得public high 無論師資、學校設備、學生背境都同private school 無得比。

Public schools 啲老師周不時會罷吓工，VCE (Y12 public exam) 成績通常private schools 會比 public schools 好，除了個別例子如Balwyn High (所以Balwyn 樓價咁貴）。除非仔女考到selective schools (gifted public high schools), 咁又另當別論。

好多港人移民澳洲，好似我父母咁，有public schools 唔駛錢都唔揀，負擔得起都寧願啲細路讀private schools。好多澳洲人都係睇唔起讀public schools 果啲。

原來係咁嘅，之前有媽媽提過比較好少少嘅public school 如 Beverly Hills, Serpell 嘅quality 都爭很遠嗎？

Serpell太多人，成千二個學生，聽人講返學放學都塞車！其他家長講佢個仔出世開始已經報私校，到而家2年級都仲係waiting list!

我朋友話照到超聲波知道陀果個係女，未出世已經幫個女報定MLC.
