個工人上次無出庭, 個官已經講過, 話如果個工人有理據, 個工人係可以申請重開個 case.

tribunal 封信寫, restore 個 case 首要係個工人要先比 hk$500 deposit. 唔知大家有無聽過 deposit 呢樣嘢呢? 要來重 mud 呢? 嚇下個工人等佢唔好諗住話 reopen 就 reopen 個 complaint?

個官上次同我地解釋, 話個工人要負責當日既堂費, 呢個係 no show 既教訓. 所以我相信個工人上去 restore 個 case 既時候, 已經比 tribunal 要求佢比左上次既堂費?? 又或者, 佢上次去 restore 個 case 既時候, tribubal 要求佢比上次既堂費, 佢話無, 所以要佢比 deposit 先再有得傾??

重諗住個工人識諗, 返左印等新工, 唉... 點知佢重係 hk 玩緊. 我相信佢係做緊 part-time, 唔知 for part time job, agency 要分個工人幾多$$呢? 我諗緊, 個工人係唔係想唔比 perm 既 agency fee 所以咁樣 extend her stay in hk, 請願去做 part time?

真係煩, 唔想再請假...

唔知呀... 我老公叫我打去 tribunal 去問, 但係以我上幾次 call 去問嘢既經驗, 跟本唔會有 answers, 果位女仕唔會講...

個官比左個 deadline 佢要交 deposit, 如果唔係維持原判. 佢 claim 我只係 $1,800+, 比左上次既堂費, 如果佢重玩既, 佢 mere 心態, 想要 mud 一清二楚... 個工人真係好煩!

Judging from this petty amount she's claiming, your ex-maid, if not out of her mind, must be seeking a way to extend her stay in HK only.

I think it wouldn't harm much but all you may need is time to play the game with the shit. She wouldn't be cautious about the evidence she will provide and it must be fill of loopholes. If I were you I would stay firm not to pay and go fighting with her.

But cowkingb, do take it in a relaxed but cautious way and do not let the shit affect your mood, cuz you still have to focus on your parents' health at the moment. Are they getting any better?

My mum is taking the operation now. The operation begins at 8:30 am in this morning. If everything goes smooth, the operation should end around noon. I will be rushing to the hospital tonight and see if the nurse allow us to go and see my mum... due to the H1N1 new virus, it is the new policy of the hospital to allow 2 persons only to visit the patient per day, from 6 pm to 8 pm only.

I have brothers and sisters, we all want to see my mum so what we can do is to make the schedules and share the visiting time. I can only share the visiting time of this Friday. Anyway, I will still go and try to see if the nurse allows us to see my mum tonight..

Yes, about the maid, I am pretty sure that she wants to extend her stay in HK, her target is not me anymore. I have a strong feeling that she was taking a temp job on the days she was scheduled to see the Officer at the Tribunal and the 1st hearing day.

We have made up our mind to stay firm.

Wish your mom has got doctors who are full of wisdom to heal.

COmparing to parents' health, the maids' issue is only minor. Hope your family has got enough strength to overcome...
